Ingredients in many products and foods you use regularly were cultivated and harvested by humans you will never meet, living different, interesting lives in different interesting places. Please enjoy playing with the interactive map above; it provides a fun way to realize how you interact with the global community, and learn a bit about these divine aromatherapy ingredients. The colors correlate to the sensuous scents and the scentless base product. For example, all blue icons above represent the ingredients in Sensuous Scent No. 1.
We hope you are inspired to google something further and explore on your own. We invite you to remember how many people all over the world have put care into your care when you use Sensational Salts.

The Sea Salt
We love this particular salt so much we want you to know all about it. Mined from a deposit in Utah, Real Salt® is an amazing, super high-mineral salt that was once part of an ancient sea covering the U.S. and beyond during the Jurassic era. Protected by ash from subsequent volcanic eruptions and untouched thereafter, it is free from contemporary manmade pollutants. The lovely light pink color comes from more than 50+ trace minerals, including iodine, calcium and magnesium (

Real Salt® would be organic, if salt were considered that way. Bottom line: it’s absolutely top quality, lovely to eat, wonderful for soaking, and American resourced and produced; there is zero need to ship all the way from the Dead Sea. Makes sense.

The Epsom Salt
Naturally mined means these are not lab salts - you get them as the planet makes them. Now we’re not saying there’s anything wrong with laboratory Epsoms – after all, they are a simple composite – we’re just saying we like to keep it naturally simple wherever possible. Nothing wrong with that right?
Magnesium - a main component of Epsom and absorbable by soaking - is an extremely important positively charged ion (electrolyte) that helps regulate over 300 enzymes orchestrating bodily functions from muscle and nerve control to energy production and toxin elimination. This can enhance mental focus and quality of sleep, to name a few behavioral benefits.
Sulfate, also absorbable through soaking, is difficult to obtain naturally from foods. It assists in the body's absorption of nutrients by stimulating enzymes and can help in the formations of brain tissue and joint protein. It may also aid in toxin elimination and reducing the intensity of migraines.

The Oatmeal
Certified organic oatmeal means that you’re getting natural high-quality goodness, and so is the planet. Batch by batch the grains are pulverized, and mixed with the salts while still warm. Seriously, it smells like baking at gramma’s house (oatmeal scones...) while we handcraft Sensational Salts. Once again, this ingredient is indeed good enough to eat.
Recognized since the Roman times as a topical cleanser and skin treatment, today oatmeal is recognized by conventional & alternative health practitioners as naturally cleansing, moisturizing and conditioning to skin.

The Essential Oils
We’ve searched high and low to provide you the best essential oils for wellness and beauty. They smell amazing, work amazing and are well within a reasonable budget. Sensory Revolution promises to make it hard for you to justify using synthetics!
Like all our ingredients, selection matters and great time and care are put into selecting quality worthy of ourselves, our friends and our families. Wherever possible, Sensuous Scents use certified organic essential oils. When not available (many amazing oils grown in far-off lands simply are not, largely due to the cost of certification), we select oils wild-crafted (grown organically in the wild or as if wild) and farmed conventionally yet unsprayed.
